Long Overdue Audio project

Sorry for the delay this is my audio project. Finally just learned how to compress my files so i got it on hear. This goes way over the time limit, I'm sorry about that I cut it in half if that counts for anything. This is an audio project about stories being told over a few drinks. I love drunken stories and people have been telling them since the invention of alcohol so i only found it appropriate to capture one for my project. This is a story about two of my friends and their trip to a mental hospital.

Naughty but Nice

The other story I watch was naughty but nice it was hardly understandable. She had a crazy accent I guess it was some irish accent im not really sure. It was a funny digital story because I like how she talks about how much she likes tea. To be honest this lady has a real passion that you seldom see many people. The snap shots are probably my favorite part with all the pictures of danishes and éclairs and all her friends she likes to have tea with. Also I think im going to take her advice and drink a spot of tea before and after work. Great pictures, could have been better audio but you can’t blame her for doing her best I hope mine can turn out this well.

Pralines Digital Story

I watch the digital story pralines I thought it was an interesting story. Never would have thought that it would be about such a dismal topic with such a delicious name. To see all the old writings I thought was really cool to see how people used to just write constantly. The Klan pictures were both disturbing and weird. It gave a face to the Klan you don’t usual see like them with their hats off smiling. It almost makes you forget what they did. To not grow up in that period is something Im thankful of to much hate for me I would like to see people just get along. I thought the ending really brought it together and wasn’t really expecting it I kept wondering when the pralines would play a part.

Guerrilla Radio Show

The next audio story I listen to is the Guerrilla Radio Show that first off have some awesome music for their show. Its in a talk show type format with multiple people in the studio to comment on the topics. It’s a philosophy talk show that discusses people thoughts by call in and interviews from the street about time and their thoughts of time. They go through talking about all the ideas they might have about time I found this really interesting as being a fan of Lost I have a real connection with this topic. The talk about the possibility of time travel and would it affect the present. I liked the thought of people not being necessarily experts on this topic just like an actually smart stoner conversation in the sense that people are talking about ridiculous unfathomable topics but it actual makes sense not like most stoner conversation. Just a very intriguing talk show that I would probably find myself listening to in the future or maybe the past.

Lesbian Mafia

The first audio story I listen to was a podcast called The Lesbian Mafia. I don’t think it was something that was really meant for my ears. It was under the comedy section I didn’t really find how it was comedy other than just some loud cursing rants that I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be funny but made me laugh. Other than that she had a very intriguing story about her problems with depression and wanting to kill herself. She talked about how women with depression should not just jump on pills they give you but check out you thyroid gland that she had problems with and caused her depression problems. I really liked how she thinks out of the pharmaceutical and therapist regime that has taken over our society and how people should relate with other people and friends to solve their problems. I have many of the same thoughts because people have gone thousands of years dealing with these problems naturally than with these new medications and techniques.
